Norman Hébert '73 appointed to Order of Canada

Congratulations to Norman Hébert '73 on his recent appointment to the Order of Canada by the Governor General of Canada.

Mr. Hébert was recognized for his leadership as an entrepreneur in the automobile industry and for his support of various charitable causes.

For over 25 years, Mr. Hébert has pursued a career in the family business, founded by his father in 1959, including 20 years as President and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue inc.

Among many accomplishments, Mr. Hébert has served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Concordia University since 2012, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SAQ (2006-2013) and as an active member of the Board of Directors of Hydro-Quebec (2004-2007). He has also co-chaired major fundraising campaigns for both Centraide of Greater Montreal and Fondation Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne. Mr. Hébert has been a loyal supporter of Loyola and an annual sponsor of the Loyola High School Foundation golf tournament.
