Home Admissions Admissions Process Application Deadline

Application Deadline

Completed applications MUST be received in the Admissions Office by the date indicated in the IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES section (not postmarked). In an effort to be fair to all applicants, this deadline is STRICTLY adhered to.

In order for your son's application to be considered complete for the purposes of the Application Deadline, the Admissions Office needs to receive:

  • The completed application form signed by you and your son.
  • The registration fee of $100.00 (for Secondary 2 (Cycle One-Year Two) applicants who have previously applied - $50.00),
  • Your son's Grade 5 (Cycle Three-First Year) June report card (for Secondary 2 (Cycle One-Year Two) applicants, your son's Grade 5 & 6 (Cycle Three-First & Second Year) June report cards).

Additional items that will complete your son's file (as listed below) need to be received by the end of October:

  • Letters of recommendation - may be submitted along with the application form or sent directly to the Admissions Office.
  • Confidential Recommendation Forms - these should be delivered to your son's teacher or principal who will mail them directly to the Admissions Office (please give them the return envelopes as well). If your son's school will not complete this form, please inform the Admissions Office in writing.
  • Religious Participation Form - this should be delivered to your priest or minister if you attend a place of worship at a minimum of once per month. If you are unable to have this information completed, you MUST fill in your side of the form and return it to the Admissions Office.
  • Your son's Birth Certificate and English Eligibility Certificate - at this point in the process, you can send in photocopies of these documents. ORIGINAL documents will be requested should your son be accepted at Loyola High School.

Special Note for Secondary 2 (Cycle One-Year Two) applicants: as interviews for this level only take place in the spring, continue sending in all progress and term report cards as you receive them.
