Secondary 2 (Cycle One - Year Two) Admissions Process
For students entering Secondary 2 (Cycle One - Year Two), the admissions process (i.e. sending in an application and writing an entrance exam) takes place in the fall (September/October) of the students’ Secondary 1 (Cycle One - Year One) year.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For Secondary 2 (Cycle One - Year Two), only a few places may become available. The school will only know of openings in the spring and/or summer before the start of the new school year. Please keep this in mind when choosing to apply for this level.
OVERALL VIEW OF THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS - SECONDARY 2 (CYCLE ONE - YEAR TWO)
- Secondary 2 (Cycle One - Year Two) Applicant MUST be eligible for English School - English Eligibility
- Visit the Open House
- Obtain an Application Package
- Complete Application Form and return with required documents by Application Deadline
- Come to Information Session (parents and applicants)
- Write Entrance Exam
- Ensure reference letters etc. have been received by Loyola by the end of October
- Continue sending in progress and term report cards as they become available
- Loyola High School determines in spring and/or summer if places for Secondary 2 (Cycle One - Year Two) will become available
- If places become available, come for Interview upon invitation
- Admissions Office to contact you if your son is offered a place at Loyola. A letter will be mailed or will be available for pick-up.
- If "Yes", complete and return Registration Form and $200.00 non-refundable deposit
- * Original Birth and Eligibility Certificates need to be seen at this time *
