Secondary 3, 4 and 5 (Cycle Two - Years One, Two and Three) Admissions Process

General Information

Spaces may or may not become available at these levels.  Openings in Secondary 4 & 5 (Cycle Two - Years Two & Three) are particularly rare.

Loyola High School will only know of openings in the spring and/or summer before the start of the new school year.  Please keep this in mind when choosing to apply for these levels.

Admissions Process

Applicant MUST be Eligible for English School – ENGLISH ELIGIBILITY

In order to apply to these levels, the following documents need to be sent to Loyola’s Admissions Office starting in the January before the start of the new school year:

  • A letter from the parents outlining why they would like their son to come to Loyola High School;
  • A letter from the applicant outlining why he would like to come to Loyola High School;
  • All June report cards from Grade 6 (Cycle Three-Second Year) onward;
  • All progress and term report cards from the current year;
  • Any letters of recommendation.

If places do become available, the Admissions Committee will review the applications that have been received in this manner and contact some students for an interview.

If your son subsequently gets accepted to Loyola High School, the Admissions Office will contact you.  A letter will be mailed or will be available for pick up.

Upon an acceptance, the Registration Form and $200.00 non-refundable deposit must be returned to the Loyola Admissions Office.  Original Birth and Eligibility Certificates need to be seen at that time.
