Can non-Catholic students apply to your school?

As Loyola is a Catholic school, preference is given to boys who are practicing Catholics, providing they meet all the application criteria. Loyola accepts about ten percent of applicants who are practicing another faith and who meet all the application criteria. The religious component is one aspect of the application criteria, but everyone is welcome to apply; keeping in mind that:

Loyola, as a Jesuit school, interprets education in larger than academic terms -- namely that full growth of the human person which leads both to reflection and to action.

All Catholic students in Loyola by their enrollment in the School accept a serious obligation to explore their religious experience, and their life within and commitment to the Catholic tradition.

That non-Catholic students by seeking admission are indicating their interest in learning about Catholic traditions as well as in fostering their own religious development.
