CEGEP and LCC OPEN HOUSES 2009-2010

The local CEGEPS & LCC generally host one Open House during the year.

It is an opportunity for students and their parents to visit the campus and check out the facilities.You will be able to see the condition and size of facilities such as the library, laboratories, classrooms, and cafeteria.

 

Students and teachers will be on hand to answer your questions, and make editorial comments about their school.

Dawson CEGEP: Sunday, October 25, from 1:00-5:00 P.M.
Marianopolis CEGEP: Sunday, November 8, from 1:00-5:00 P.M
John Abbott CEGEP: **NEW** Saturday, November 14th, from 12:00-4:00 P.M.
Vanier CEGEP: Sunday, October 18, from 1:00-5:00 P.M.
Champlain CEGEP: Sunday, November 1, from 1:00-4:00 P.M.

Lower Canada College: Thursday, October 10, 5:00-8:00 P.M.

2009 INFORMATION EVENINGS POST-SECONDARY SCHOOLING

There are a few information sessions scheduled in the fall for grade eleven students and their parents.
It is an opportunity for the students to obtain some basic information about prospective schools.

CEGEP INFORMATION EVENINGS

Loyola High School Thursday, October 17
7272 Sherbrooke Street West72 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.

All of the English CEGEPS and one of the French ones will be in attendance in the Loyola Gymnasium. There may also be some non-CEGEPS represented as well. Students and parents will have the opportunity of speaking with admission officers at individual tables.

If you are unable to attend this information session, other CEGEP Information Evenings will be held at Queen of Angels Academy and Villa Maria School in November.

ONTARIO UNIVERSITIES INFORMATION EVENING

Lower Canada College Monday, October 10
4090 Royal Avenue, N.D.G 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Many of Ontario's universities will attend and they will give classroom presentations. At the end of the sessions, you will be able to walk around and ask brief questions of the admission officers whom you have not yet seen, and pick up literature. This might be a good opportunity for you to learn about these universities, especially if you are giving thought to attending CEGEP for only a year or Grade Twelve at Lower Canada College.

LCC PRE-UNIVERSITY INFORMATION EVENING

Lower Canada College Thursday, November 19
4090 Royal Avenue, Montreal 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

There will be tours of their facilities starting at 5 p.m. and the formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. Teachers, administrators and students will be available to answer questions.
