Planned Giving

A planned gift to Loyola is one that is arranged today and that will benefit the school either immediately or in the long-term, and that is made in a manner that maximizes the many financial and tax benefits available to you as a charitable donor. Gift planning is not just for the elderly, nor is it only for the wealthy; there are planned giving strategies to suit donors of all ages and income levels.

While donors tend to give out of a sense of benevolence, they can do so while making wise fiscal decisions that will ultimately benefit them as well as Loyola. There is a host of strategies available that allow individuals who are planning for their financial future to incorporate philanthropy into their overall estate plan. Gifts made in this way are planned gifts.

Other ways of making a planned gift are through the establishment of a charitable gift annuity, the gifting of retirement plans, and the donation of real estate or art. While one should always consult one’s financial advisor before arranging a planned gift, the Loyola High School Foundation would be pleased to answer any questions you might have about how to support the school in this manner.
