$200,000 Raised for Student Bursaries at 2011 Foundation Golf Tournament

The 13th Annual Loyola High School Foundation Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, the oldest golf club in North America and site of the 2007 President’s Cup. This year the golf tournament netted approximately $200,000 for bursaries. The funds raised will provide at least 40 deserving students with the opportunity to attend Loyola.

Given the demand to play the tournament this year, Royal Montreal permitted Loyola to use both their Blue and Red courses. Sponsors who purchased golf registrations were given priority to play 18 holes on the Blue - a course that is one of Canada’s finest tests of golf. After a great day of golf, participants enjoyed a roast beef dinner.

A special thank-you to our sponsors, to the 184 golfers who participated and to those who made donations to our auctions.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again at next year's tournament.
