DAILY EVENTS

FRONT ENTRANCE
Due to the recent snow fall, students should enter by the gym or locker room entrance to avoid making a mess on the floors. As of tomorrow, students will no longer be allowed to use the front entrance of the school unless they are arriving late for school.

SECONDARY 1 AND 2 EXAM PREP WORKSHOPS
Ms. Beland and Ms. Percival will be holding Exam Prep Workshops on Tuesday, December 7th and Wednesday, December 8th from 3:15 p.m. 4:00 p.m. for interested Secondary 1 and 2 students. You can choose one workshop to attend. Please sign up on the Google Form that will be sent to you.

2021 TALENT NIGHT
This Friday, December 3rd, the Loyola Talent Night is back and you are cordially invited to attend! Doors open at 5:30 pm and the show will run until approximately 7:30 pm. Tickets are free, with a suggested donation of 10$ per person at the door, with proceeds going to the bursary drive. You must register through Eventbrite in advance in order to attend. Please see the link on Loyola.ca. Guests will be required to present their vaxicode at the door. Don’t miss out on our many stellar music and comedy performances! ATHLETIC HOODIES
If you would like to purchase an athletic hoodie, please fill out the Google form that was sent to your Loyola email. For sizing, you can try on the sample sizes outside Mr. Lafave's office. You will have the option of sport on the front, number and name on sleeves. Once payment has been made, your order will be placed. Any questions, please contact Mr. Lafave.

CHAMPIONSHIP JACKETS
Mr. Neil Janna, from Janna Promotions will be at school on Tuesday December 7th during lunchtime in the atrium where he will size students for the championship jackets. Cost of the jacket is $380.00. A $100 deposit, cash or check payable to Janna Promotions, is required at the time of sizing. Any questions, please contact Mr. Lafave.

STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS
Christmas Escape Room: Secondary One and Two students can sign up for the Christmas Escape room which will take place at lunch time in the Atrium on Friday, December 10th. Teams of four can sign up together. If you don't have a full team, you can still sign up and you will be assigned to a team. Watch your email for the sign up for today. The team that cracks the code will unlocks the box and find the Christmas treats inside! Kleenex Packs: Personal Kleenex packs are available for 25 cents from the Student Council office. Grad Ring Orders: Are you in Sec 5 and wishing you had ordered a grad ring? Not to worry! Mr. Caron will take your orders on December 8th and 10th when he is back at the school. You will need a $100 deposit in cash or cheque payable to Jostens. Christmas Gift Wrapping: Starting this week until Thursday, December 16th, Student Council will wrap all gifts brought to them, in exchange for a suggested donation of $2 per item. All donations will be given to the Loyola Bursary Fund. Krispy Kreme Sale: There will also be a Krispy Kreme sale this Friday, December 3rd during both Junior and Senior lunches. The cost of each donut will be $1.

Home game today vs Collège Jean de la Mennais. Game time is 3:15 p.m. at the Ed Meagher Arena. Please dismiss players after period 5. Go Warriors!

The team has an away game today vs. St. Thomas. Players are dismissed at 1:50 p.m.

FENCING
The new fencing after school program has begun and is open to new students. face off against your friends legally and safely after school on Mondays and Wednesdays. Training is from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Atrium. Questions can be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. JUVENILE BASKETBALL D2
The Division 2 Warriors play Royal West Academy this afternoon please dismiss players at 2:30 p.m. Go Warriors!

JUVENILE FOOTBALL
The team banquet takes place today during lunchtime on the balcony in the cafeteria. Pizza and drinks will be served.

CHESS TEAM
History was made last night as the Loyola Chess Team competed in the GMAA tournament for the first time against West Island College's first team. The competition was intense and Loyola suffered initially from some ring rustiness. Despite winning several matches the team ultimately fell short. The team will look for a victory against WIC's second team next week.
