Daily Events

  • SCHOOL PHOTO RETAKES
  • REMINDER: School Photo Retakes will be held TOMORROW from 7:45-8:15 and during lunch in the ATRIUM. Anyone needing a retake MUST REGISTER with Ms. Caristo or if you are new to the school, as well as those who had hair issues the first day, also have to register. Others must bring in their ORIGINAL packages to Ms. Caristo if there is a problem with the photo, eg. eyes closed, etc. - YOU MAY NOT HAVE A RETAKE ONLY BECAUSE YOU DO NOT LIKE THE PHOTO.
  • CSP I-IV
  • It is now 2 days before the final Sec. 2 deadline. According to the information held at present, 31 students are in RED. That would mean failure if nothing changes. ALL Sec. 2 students MUST check their hours on Moodle and see Mr. Donovan if in red. The only possible option remaining for those whose hours are not complete would be the Oka Race. The final deadline to be signed up and confirmed for that would be October 25th. There would be little hope for any other options between now and Wednesday.
  • Lost Items
  • Attention all students: we are looking for a volleyball jersey with the number 11. It was left in an unlocked Gym Locker last Friday. If you found the jersey or are aware of its location please see Mr. Fulvio immediately.
  • Debate Team
  • All interested in joining the Debate Team are invited to Room 354 today at Lunch for an information session. Attendance will be taken. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please let Mr. Ryan know.
  • Spring Drama Production
  • Auditions for "Lord of the Flies" will begin today after school in Room 354 at 3:10 p.m. Students are asked to take a seat outside the class and will be called in individually. Break a leg to all participants!
  • Talent Night Auditions
  • Are you a musician, dancer, comedian or emcee, looking for an opportunity to perform?  If so, be sure to fill out and submit an electronic Audition Form for Talent Night 2017. To access this form, click the link at Loyola.ca. On this form, you will find all pertinent information regarding auditions (ex: date and time). If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact Mr. Hein, Mr. Proietti, or any Committee Member (see attached list). TODAY is the deadline to complete the Audition Form. 2017 Talent Night Committee: Sec III: Evan Hardy and Rocco Santaguida. Sec V: Alessandro De Luca, Lucas Donato, Kevin Faucher, Matthew Lawler, Vincent Messina, Matthew Parthimos, Owen Rodgers and Ryan Santini.
  • 1Delectable Bake Sale!
  • If you are looking to prepare your 'sweet tooth' for Halloween's ghoulish sugar-fest, come on down to 1 D's Delectable Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 25, in the Cafeteria. A monster brownie will also be raffled-off to a lucky winner. Free tickets will be issued based on the number of items purchased! Rumor has it that Mama Vani's deadly good Nutella cup-cakes will be on hand for the picking! All proceeds to support the Christmas Food Drive.

  • Hockey Bantam Division 2
  • Une rencontre d'équipe obligatoire aura aujourd'hui à 11h50 au Local 351. Arrivez à l'heure et apportez votre lunch.
  • Intramural Hockey
  • NEED HOCKEY EQUIPMENT? No problem...You can meet Mr. Santillo on Tuesday or Thursday morning (7:30 a.m.) this week at the Hockey Cage downstairs in the Gym basement and borrow equipment. If you have any questions please see Mr. Santillo.
  • Intramural Soccer
  • In the Final Match of the regular season, the Super Eagles hosted la Furia on a sunny, but windy, day. Furia started strong, bringing the score to 2-0 at the end of the first half. Despite a powerful start for the Eagles and an early goal, Furia held on for the match with a final score of 3-1. Stars of the match: Nicholas Laye and Michael Tortolano. Warriors of the match: Cory Della Posta and Jonathan Chevrier.
  • Intramural Soccer
  • The Semi Final is set...SUPER EAGLES vs SPICE BOYZ on Wednesday, October 25 at the Ed Meagher Field at 3:20 p.m. The winner goes on to play LA FURIA for Soccer Supremacy on Monday, October 30.
  • Juvenile Football
  • Last Thursday, the Juvenile Football Warriors finished their regular season with a 24-21 loss to Mont-Saint-Louis. Despite the loss, the team finishes in first place with home field advantage throughout the playoffs. As a result, The Warriors will host the League Semi-Finals this Friday at 2:30 against St-Thomas. Go Warriors!
  • Benjamin Football
  • On Saturday, the team played their best game of the season. Trailing 14-0 at the half, the Warriors roared back to make the score 14-7. A fourth quarter touchdown to even the game was disallowed due to a penalty and a late score by Armand Corbeil resulted in a 21-7 final. The team is back on the field today in preparation for Saturday's playoff game.
  • Cadet Football
  • The team defeated St-Jean Vianney on Friday. Their next playoff opponent will be the Golden Eagles of Dalbe-Viau. The Semi-Final game will be on Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Team will be meeting today in Room 216, at 3:15 p.m.
  • Wrestling
  • The Wrestling Team will begin pre-season practices today after school, from 3:20 to 5:00 p.m. For the time being, practices are open to returning wrestlers only. The sign-up meeting for students who want to try out for this year's team will take place on Thursday, November 2nd.
